Pup's nose like no other Super-sleuth dog sniffs out moulds that make us sick

The Mould Dog Advantage

Having a mould detection dog allows us to pin point the exact location of the mould growth inside a wall or floor. In the past, this was very difficult, if not impossible, with air testing alone.

The result is less laboratory sampling, less cost to you and faster results.

There is no other tool like it!

Mold Testing in Oakville

Whether at home or at the office, many of us have suffered from the ill effects of poor quality air.  Poor air environment can be the source of basic, everyday health issues, or far more serious and adverse concerns.  Reactions could include everything from aggravated sinuses to intensified respiratory flare-ups, and quite often, we don’t even make the connection.

In Oakville and the suburban communities of Halton Region, MOULD DOG Air Quality Testing is a mold testing service provider that can address air quality issues in your home, office, or factory.  We can show you exactly what you’re breathing in, where it may be coming from, and what you can do to rectify the situation.  We provide customers with mold testing that is extensive and exhaustive, with a team of qualified inspectors who are proficient and experienced in the field.

At MOULD DOG, we use high-tech instruments to identify the nature of the problem, but we also use a low-tech approach - it’s our canine inspector, Ranger, a fully Certified Mould Detection Dog.  Some time ago, we made headlines with Quincy, Canada's First Certified Mould Detection Dog, and today, we continue the tradition with Ranger, a 5 year-old Beagle mix.  Similar to bomb-detection or drug-detection dogs, Ranger is trained to sniff mold, and makes a significant contribution to our inspection team.

We specialize in mold testing, and we understand that in some cases mold is not even visible to the eye.  In the right conditions, it can grow inside walls, on top of ceilings, and underneath floors.  That’s why a comprehensive inspection is essential.  In fact, mold is a naturally occurring fungus, but indoors it can have serious health effects on humans.  To be sure, some molds can be toxic.  You may have noticed physical signs of mold, or you may have seen nothing, but noticed the smell - either way, a professional approach is in order, especially when personal health is at stake.

Our mold testing procedure begins with intensive testing of the premises.  We then determine the type of lab analysis required, and we decide which facility will receive the mold samples for testing.  We use only independent, third party labs, qualified service providers.  It may cost more, but we insist on reliable test results, and the reliability of our providers (our data can actually be used in court).

With final test results, we prepare a report detailing the overall conditions in your home (or business).  We list the substances tested; the levels that were found; and the levels that are considered acceptable.  Our report describes your case in detail, articulating the severity of the situation, and the location/cause of your air quality issue.  MOULD DOG reports are quite easy to read, easy to understand, and contain our recommendations for solving the issue.  We provide a scope of work, a cost estimate, even a proposal on specific products and contractors that would be suitable.  This way, our customers in Oakville and the suburban communities of Halton Region can make informed decisions based on accurate facts and figures.

In addition to conventional mold testing, MOULD DOG also provides more complex air quality assessments, including analysis of chemical off gassing, testing of sewer gases, and customized forensic appraisals.

So when your health and wellbeing are concerned, do it right the first time, with MOULD DOG!
